What is hat hair?

Hat hair is really just what happened to your hair after you have worn a hat for an extended period of time. After you have worn a hat for a while, then your hair becomes matted and flat looking. Hat hair can be caused by a variety of things. Basically anything that covers the hair or head for an extended period of time such as a hat, or a helmet, or even that old bandanna you think makes you look like a hard and tough guy.

How do you get rid of hat hair or saddlebags?

Hat hair does not look good on anyone really. The only thing you can do with hat hair is to get rid of your hat hair, you do not want to keep a bad look going longer than it has too. Here is a step-by-step process that will keep and get your hair back to normal.

1. Put conditioner in your hair: Make you massage the conditioner all the way down to your scalp, but are careful. If you put too much in, your hair will stay damp and your hair will be ruined after you wear a hat.
2. Blow-dry your hair (sorry guys): This will keep the ends of your hair straight and not curled out. (Girls Only): Don’t use a curling iron to get a curly hairstyle for the day; your hat will totally flatten your hair.
3. Take your hat off regularly while you are wearing it. This just means that you take your hat off a couple of times every half hour and let your hair breath a bit

So protect your hair when you are wearing a hat, and follow these preventative measures before you wear one, and you will never have a bad case of hat hair again.
