A Review of Melanoma

Downie has reviewed many different skin conditions over the years. One of the most common conditions that Downie has reviewed involved melanoma. This is a dangerous condition that can be caused by excessive amounts of exposure to the sun.

Downie has reported that one of the best things to do in order to keep this from being more of a problem than what it could already become is to make sure that plenty of sunscreen is being used. This includes using UVA and UVB ray blockers. These will work to protect the skin. Microdermabrasion May Not Work

One common process for skin care for darker skin involves microdermabrasion. This is where layers of the skin can be removed from a treated area. This might work to keep the skin from looking too unusual. However, Downie says that this process is not strongly recommended.

The reason why Downie is opposed to this for the most part is because it is not going to work with some of the deeper types of treatments that the skin will need to work with.
