Perfume Oil

Perfume is the most beautiful and lovely thing in our daily life.Everyone like to use different types of perfumes with variety of smell. We can also use perfumes for gift to someone.Perfume oils are diluted with a solvent because the contents ie. volatile components with strong concentrations lead to allergic reactions and sometimes injury when they are applied to skin or cloths. Generally ethanol is the most common used solvent for the dilution of perfume oil. Neutral-smelling lipids like jojoba, wax can also be used as the solvent for the dilution of perfume oil.

Perfume oil is diluted with the help of certain solvents which reduces the original concentration of volatile compounds. Volatile compound if used unaided can cause allergic reactions to skin. To dilute essential oils aromatic compounds, fixatives and solvents are used. Most commonly used solvent for perfume is ethanol. A mixture of ethanol and water is also used widely.

Perfume or Parfum Classic is highly concentrated to up to 30% of essential oils and lasts 6 hours or more. Due to its higher concentration of oils it be-comes very expensive and should be used for maximum effect. A smaller bottle of perfume will last longer than a larger size eau de perfume if used effectively, but in the end using either fragrance is just a matter of preference.

Fragrance oils may be used in place of the essential oils for a cheaper version.

Cover your work area with a plastic sheet. Essential oils and fragrance oils may damage surfaces.
